Editing

Before tracks can be mixed they need to be "cleaned" and they need to be in the right tempo.

Editing in Reaper 64

Cleaning means getting rid of unwanted noise like breathing sounds, touching the microphone, and other background noise that will make the mix sound muddy even though you might not really hear them.

Sometimes  instruments  are recorded in different studios and are not 100% alligned to the beat of the song, to get this done we need to put everything to "the grid" defined by the song's tempo.

You deliver us the tracks (*.wav files, named after the recorded instrument, per song in a map, example: Leadvocalchorus.wav) and we clean them for you so that they are ready for us to mix. We only edit tracks if we do the mix as well. If you can deliver us clean tracks we will proceed rightaway to the mixing process as we will explain below.
